To the version of me who is still walking the quiet path, Somewhere down the line…
Dear Future Me,
If you’re reading this, it means time has passed — maybe years, maybe just a season — but you’re still here, breathing, feeling, living. I wonder what you’ve learned since today. I hope you’ve slowed down even more. I hope you’ve trusted yourself more fully.
Right now, I’m standing at the edge of a new beginning. Life after the rush. After the roles. After the expectations. I’ve traded noise for clarity, urgency for meaning. It’s not always easy — the silence can be loud — but it’s honest.
I don’t need to prove anything anymore. The world has enough loud voices. I’ve chosen to become still enough to hear what matters — and maybe brave enough to speak it.
If you’re wondering whether you’ve done enough — stop.
Your presence was always the point.
If you’re feeling lost — come back to breath. Back to nature. Back to the part of you that never left.
Have you kept writing? Reflecting? Listening to the quiet voice within?
I hope so. Because it speaks clearly now. It always has.
Have you forgiven what needed to be forgiven? Let go of what had no intention of staying?
I hope you’ve chosen peace over pride. Depth over distraction. Stillness over striving.
Most of all, I hope you’ve stayed true —
To your softness. Remember, you are being called Mr. Cool?
To your solitude.
To your sacred path.
If you’ve wandered, that’s okay. That too was part of the way.
Just remember:
You are not behind.
You are not too late.
And you are never alone on this road.
With gratitude and quiet faith,
— Me, from where it all began again
